UMBRELLA POLICY

The Umbrella Policy provides liability coverage over and above the liability provided by policies such as auto insurance and homeowners, motorcycles and boat insurance.

An umbrella policy provides broad coverage beyond traditional homeowners and auto. It can also provide coverage for claims that may be excluded by the primary underlying policies. These may include but are not limited to false arrest, libel, and slander.
